"Unfortunately, I kept suffering from my knee, but it’s nice that I could be helped so quickly. A period of revalidation has started for me now. If everything goes according to the plan, I hope to join the team again after the winter break to prepare for the second half of the season", Van den Boomen says.
The 28-year-old midfielder transferred from the French Toulouse this summer and started his second period at Ajax. In 2011, he signed a contract in Amsterdam that lasted three seasons. Van den Boomen left to join FC Eindhoven in 2014.
