Youri Regeer is temporarily sidelined. The 21-year-old Ajacied sustained an injury to his right ankle during training. His recovery will take at least two months.
Regeer had just started his second period at Ajax. He previously played in Amsterdam between 2017 and 2023 before moving to FC Twente. He returned to Ajax in January. Regeer played in De Klassieker against Feyenoord last Sunday.
Ajax and FC Twente have reached an agreement on the immediate transfer of Youri Regeer. The 21-year-old player has signed a contract with Ajax lasting until June 30, 2029.
