The training sessions and matches at De Toekomst offer daily opportunities to become even better and stronger. Besides those, the away matches that are played for the competition and Cups, are great moments to measure the progress that has been made.
The ultimate chance at gaining valuable experience is the UEFA Youth League. International matches know their own rules and resistance. Showdowns with European (top) clubs are incredibly valuable to the Ajax academy.
This season has proven to not be any different for Ajax U18. Already having played against Liverpool, Napoli, and Rangers FC, tonight’s opponent is named MTK Budapest. The introduction to the Hungarian team this Wednesday means an abundance of new insights and moments that the players can learn from.
On this matchday, the Ajax squad is closely followed by our photographer. The course of a matchday is usually predictable. The day starts with breakfast and is followed by a pre-match meeting, a moment of relaxation, and lunch. Having an easy, relaxed day ahead of the match is the motto.
