On Thursday evening, Ajax will play an away match against AZ in the semi-final of the KNVB Cup. The team trained on Wednesday in preparation for the duel with the fourth-placed side in the Eredivisie.

After the press conference at the Johan Cruijff ArenA, Ten Hag was on the training pitch at the Toekomst with his squad for the final training session. After three away games in a row, his side face another game on the road, this time the AFAS Stadium in Alkmaar. A place in the final of the KNVB Cup is at stake.

During the session, the last touches were put on the preparation for the game. Noussair Mazraoui was absent, the defender will miss the game in Alkmaar due to knee problems.
