For the Ajax squad, it was the third day of training this week and the concluding one before the away game at Erve Asito, a venue where Ajax traditionally struggles. John van 't Schip also knows this.
"A very tough match, history shows that too," our coach said in an interview for the Ajax channels on
Friday morning before final training. "Ajax does not win easily there, the results are often difficult. We also play on artificial turf. Heracles has recently had a new coach, Erwin van der Looi, who has changed things organisationally. Still pretty defensive, but moving the football forward from there. We will have to be ready to give a good response to that."
