Ajax were making final preparations Tuesday for the game against Feyenoord. John Heitinga's squad face the Rotterdam team away in the Dutch cup semi-finals this Wednesday evening. The cup game kicks off at the De Kuip stadium at 8pm.

The stakes at play in Rotterdam are clear: the cup final on Sunday, 30 April at the De Kuip stadium. Heitinga's team had to play three away games in the run-up to the semi-final. Their cup adventure started out in Den Bosch, where Ajax were too good for FC Den Bosch, winning 2-0. In the round of 16, Ajax defeated FC Twente 1-0, while the Amsterdam side also saw victory at the start of March when they visited De Graafschap: 3-0.

The de Toekomst training ground was home to one tough, final training session. A thorough warm-up, passing and kicking exercises and various set drills featured in the final session in readiness for Wednesday. The team were dotting the i's and crossing the t's ready for the Rotterdam clash.

Highlights FC Twente – Ajax l Through to the final eight

Ajax stays in the winning mood under John Heitinga. They knocked out FC Twente in Enschede to reach the final eight of the Dutch Cup. On Thursday evening, Mohammed Kudus posted the sole goal of the match in the seventieth minute, which continued Ajax's string of competition victories over Excelsior (1-4) and SC Cambuur (0-5).

Highlights De Graafschap — Ajax l Safely home

Thanks to a solid 3-0 victory over De Graafschap, Ajax are down to the last four in the Dutch Cup. Goals from Jorge Sánchez and Steven Bergwijn put the score at 2-0 for half-time. Brian Brobbey made sure it was 3-0 for the final whistle.
