The group on the pitch at the Toekomst consisted of a mix of players from Ajax 1 and Jong Ajax. The Ajax internationals, who played matches with their national teams at the end of May and the beginning of June, have not yet returned.

Wearing the new training collection, the players were presented with some intense drills. Schreuder, who officially started this week, led the first practice session with his coaching staff in preparation for the new season. One new face on the training pitch was assistant coach Matthias Kaltenbach, who joined from TSG Hoffenheim.
The first practice match is scheduled for Tuesday June 28 during the training camp in De Lutte, where Ajax will be staying from Monday. The opponent is SV Meppen.
