Final preparations were being made Friday evening at the de Toekomst training ground, in readiness for the clash against the current number thirteen in the league.
Despite the dark clouds overhead, the Ajax players seemed happy as they walked out onto the manicured turf at the training ground. After a warm-up and some reflex drills, the Ajax players went on to a rondo and a positional game. The training session ended working in small groups.
The match against Go Ahead Eagles is once again the first game following the international fixture. After conceding their first defeat, away to AZ in Alkmaar, the Ajax team is eager to exact revenge at home in their own Johan Cruyff ArenA.
