Ajax completed their final training session Saturday in the run-up to their next away fixture. The Ajax team will kick off against fourth-position AZ away this Sunday at 16:45.

John van 't Schip's squad completed their final session at the De Toekomst training ground in some quite chilly weather. With some warm-up play, various passing and kicking drills and a few party pieces, final touches were being put in place in readiness for the match against AZ.

Ajax have reached the round of sixteen after a sizzling evening of football in Norway. The Ajacieden beat Bodø/Glimt 1-2 thanks to a goal scored by Kenneth Taylor in the 114th minute. After ninety minutes of playing, the score was 1-1. Steven Berghuis opened the score in the 34th minute, but seven minutes before full-time, the home team equalised.
