With only three matches to go, the end of the season is near. At sports ground De Toekomst, Ajax gave the finishing touches to its preparation ahead of the match in Groningen. The team started with a warming-up, which was transformed into playing exercises. Multiple mini-games in different compositions followed. The training was finished with shots at the goal.
The away game against FC Groningen is the second-last away game of the season. After this one, the only remaining matches are against FC Utrecht (at home) and an away game against FC Twente on the last day of playing. Sunday’s opponent, FC Groningen, is currently seventeenth in the Eredivisie and will relegate to the Keuken Kampioen Divisie next season.
