Erik ten Hag's Ajax players completed their last training session at the Toekomst on Friday afternoon in the run-up to the home game against Sparta. On Saturday evening, the next challenge in the exciting battle for the league title awaits.

After the important 1-3 victory away to FC Groningen last weekend, the team took part in varied training exercises. With the victory on the road, Ajax have started the last and decisive group of games on this season well, coming off the international break.  The lead on second-placed PSV is four points.

Last week, the club announced that Antony will not be available for at least the entire month of April.  The Brazilian has an ankle injury and may not play at all for the rest of this season.

League matches and cup final
After the Eredivisie match against Sparta, there are still five league matches on the schedule. In addition, Ajax and PSV will also compete for the KNVB Cup on Sunday 17 April in De Kuip.

Ajax to visit Curaçao

The Ajax squad will visit Curaçao after the season. From May 17 to May 21, Ajax will visit various projects on the island and on May 20, Ajax will play a practice match against the national team of Curaçao.
