Ajax's focus has to change quickly. The Amsterdam team got eliminated from the Europa League on Thursday evening, after a 3-1 loss against FC Union Berlin. This meant the first loss for Ajax with John Heitinga as its head coach. The matches follow each other in rapid succession, Vitesse away is the next hurdle for Ajax.

At De Toekomst, the final training session was held. After an extensive warm-up, a few passing exercises, and minigames, the team put the finishing touches to their work.
