The final training session at sports complex De Toekomst began with an relaxed warm-up, followed by a positional play and a scrimmage. The Ajax players put the final touches on their preparation for the season finale against Vitesse. Sunday's opponent has already been relegated, while Ajax is assured of fifth place in the Eredivisie.

Brian Brobbey and Jorrel Hato were put in the limelight after the 3-0 victory against Almere City. The attacker was crowned Player of the Year and Hato received the award for Talent of the Year. "It was a tough season, but I'm proud of myself."
Ajax convincingly won their last home game of the season on Sunday. In the Johan Cruijff ArenA, Almere City was defeated 3-0 by a flawless hat-trick from Steven Bergwijn in the first half. Thanks to this victory and developments in other fields, Ajax secures fifth place in the Eredivisie and thus European football.
