Ajax Women have advanced to the second qualifying round of the UEFA Women’s Europa Cup thanks to a 0-2 win. Danique Tolhoek and Bo van Egmond were the goalscorers. The draw for the next round will take place on Friday 19 September at 15:00.
Ajax Women have booked their place in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Women’s Europa Cup with relative ease. In Austria, Anouk Bruil’s side won 0-2 against Sturm Graz, repeating the exact scoreline from their earlier win in Amsterdam.
Last summer, twelve new players joined Ajax Women. One of them was Nurija van Schoonhoven. The 27-year-old player with Russian roots transferred from FC Utrecht and already feels completely at home in Amsterdam. "Everyone dares to be themselves more and more, and I notice that in myself as well. I drive to the club every day with joy."
Ajax has reached an agreement with Amber Visscher and FC Utrecht on the defender’s move to Amsterdam. Visscher has signed a contract with Ajax running until June 30, 2027.
