The Easter weekend was dominated by cup finals. For the Ajax Women the confrontation with PSV ended successfully. Danny Schenkel's team triumphed in Nijmegen with 1-2 and took the fifth cup win in the club's history.
Ajax were unable to secure their 21st Dutch Cup win in the history of the club. Erik ten Hag's team went down 2-1 in De Kuip in Rotterdam against PSV. Ajax managed to take the lead in the first half with a beautiful goal from Ryan Gravenberch. Straight after half time Ajax went down by two goals.
Erik ten Hag and Davy Klaassen think that Ajax have themselves to blame for losing the cup final. At half time the Ajax players still had the advantage (0-1), but let the match slip through their fingers in the second half: 2-1. "We gave away two goals through our own mistakes", said Klaassen.
In 20 second countdown, two Ajax players face off in a race against the clock. Each player has twenty seconds on the clock to start each round.
