Sunday saw Ajax earn their twelfth league win of the season. John van ’t Schip's squad won by 1-3 on a visit to PEC Zwolle. Kristian Hlynsson found the opening marker, and Chuba Akpom also scored twice. With the victory, Ajax reclaims fifth place from NEC, who beat leader PSV on Saturday.
John van 't Schip won't be counting on Jordan Henderson for the next three matches. So revealed the Ajax manager Thursday afternoon in a press conference at the Johan Cruyff ArenA. The manager also talked about the recent international break, his future with Ajax and what's left of the league cup competition.
