Ajax have concluded the first European match of the season with a solid victory. Thanks to Mohammed Kudus, the final score was 1-4 against Ludogorets. The Ghanaian scored three goals. Shortly before half-time, Brian Brobbey found the net too.
Ajax have done good business in Europe on Thursday evening. The Ajax players won the first leg of the play-offs of the UEFA Europa League against Ludogorets with 1-4. Mohammed Kudus (3) and Brian Brobbey were responsible for the Ajax goals in the Huvepharma Arena.
The day started for the squad with a flight to Bulgaria. Ludogorets await them there on Thursday evening for the UEFA Europa League play-offs. After a great flight, the squad rushed straight to the hotel, and trained later in the day in the actual stadium of their Bulgarian opponents.
Maurice Steijn has unveiled the list of players for the clash with Ludogorets. Twenty-five players are off to Bulgaria. The Ajax squad also includes brand-new signing Josip Šutalo, although he is not yet eligible to play.
