Ajax recorded a convincing victory over Celtic in Thursday evening’s friendly encounter. John Heitinga’s side defeated the Scots 5-1, with goals coming from Steven Berghuis (two), Davy Klaassen, Aaron Bouwman and Rayane Bounida.
Day two in Italy is done. Under delightful Southern European temperatures once again, the Ajax players were put through a tough training session. With the press watching from the sidelines, the tempo picked up in Como. On to Thursday, on to Matchday.
