The squad is back to full strength after the international break. For Hato, it was a special week; he made his starting debut for the Dutch national team and has been nominated for the Golden Boy award, being one of the final 25 contenders. "I read about it," he says with a smile. "That's great, and I’m happy with it."

Hato is also pleased with his first start for Oranje. "The result was disappointing, but personally, I'm proud. It’s a bit of mixed feelings."

Heracles away
The league continues this Sunday in Almelo, and the 18-year-old defender has played in nearly all matches this season. "That’s great, and getting minutes is important. Over the next three weeks, we have a lot of games, so we’ll have to step up. But I'm happy about that. It's important to think about recovery, but that’s manageable."

"There are some exciting matches coming up. We need to make sure we're ready," Hato continues, referring to the busy period ahead. "Feyenoord, PSV, and FC Twente are key matches, along with the European fixtures. But first, we're focused on Heracles. They've had a good start, and it's always tricky there. We need to be ready."
