Steven Bergwijn made the switch from Tottenham Hotspur to Ajax this summer. We spoke with him during the training camp in Austria and asked the forward a number of questions to test his knowledge of his predecessors wearing the number seven shirt.
Calvin Bassey is overjoyed to be an Ajax player. The defender made that clear in his first interview, both in word and gesture. “Just the fact that a club with the status and greatness of Ajax had their eye on me, I thought it was incredible.”
Steven Bergwijn signed a five-year contract with Ajax on Friday morning. The Dutch international, who has made the move from Tottenham Hotspur to Amsterdam, is very happy to be back at his former club. "I want to prove myself at the highest level."
