Ajax: Marouane Bentaleb (sixteen years old)
"I am a player who radiates calmness and dares to play with confidence. I try to support the team as much as possible with my leadership. Ajax U17 is a side that shows plenty of fighting spirit and tries to build up from the back. It is one of the biggest youth tournaments in the world, featuring major clubs, and as a young boy I always looked forward to this tournament. As a team, we really want to win the Future Cup."
Anderlecht: Mattis Seghers (seventeen years old)
"As a goalkeeper, my best qualities are one-on-ones, coaching and being important for the team. We are a side with many strong attacking players and pace, which makes us dangerous. My role model is Bart Verbruggen. Ajax are a European top club and I used to be a bit of a fan. Now we are here to win and it is great to be here as captain of Anderlecht. I want to show that we are a strong group and ready to win here."
Paris Saint-Germain: Konate Seydou (sixteen years old)
"I am an attacking midfielder, but I also provide balance in the team. We have a good side, both offensively and defensively. We defend well and we can create chances too. My role model is Valverde. I watch a lot of his matches and what he does is very interesting. Ajax produce good players every year and they have a beautiful style of play. The Future Cup promises to be a great tournament. It will be tough, but you have to persevere. That is why we are here. Paris Saint-Germain are a top club and we will do everything we can to win this tournament."
Bayer 04 Leverkusen: Ivan Massek (sixteen years old)
"My idol is Neymar because I love dribbling and his style of play. He does not overthink and simply makes his moves. I would describe myself as a player who is composed on the ball and stays calm under pressure. But also someone who helps the team both on and off the pitch. We have a strong team with different personalities and that is what connects us. I want to show my qualities this weekend and I am really looking forward to proving myself at this level, with all the top clubs here. I am ready, one hundred per cent."
Sporting Portugal: Mário Almeida (sixteen years old)
"I would describe myself as a player with passion and an aggressive style of play, but I stay within the limits. Our team plays with passion and aggression, but we know there are clear rules in this tournament. We have come here to win, not to make friends. I have a few role models: Éder Militão, Virgil van Dijk and Dean Huijsen. Sporting Portugal took part in the Future Cup two years ago and that is how I discovered the tournament. We have come here to win and that is what we are going for."
Olympique Lyonnais: Djibril Merouani (sixteen years old)
"I would describe myself as a technical player, not selfish, and always ready for my team-mates and my team. We are fighters and we love winning. Thiago Alcántara is my role model because he has fantastic technique. Ajax play differently from what we are used to in France and at this tournament I want to raise my team to a high level. We are here to win."
Future United: Adam Asfour (sixteen years old)
"I am Adam Asfour, I play for Como 1907 in Italy and I am the captain of Future United. I am a central defender, but I can also play as a left-back and midfielder. We have a talented team, but we need to perform well because we will face strong sides. We have a special team, with Japanese, Mexican, Spanish and Italian players. My role model is Bastoni from Inter because he is very technical and has a strong left foot. I know the Future Cup is a great tournament where many top players have competed. I want to win this tournament and show myself."
Real Madrid: Mateo Pozo Arias (sixteen years old)
