The start has been made in Zeist. The Ajacieden set off on Monday afternoon for their first training camp of the season. Upon arrival, the squad checked into the hotel, familiarised themselves with the facilities, and completed their first training session
Ajax will travel to their training camp in Zeist on Monday with a squad of 27 players. The international players who took part in various major international tournaments this summer are not yet included in the squad. Wout Weghorst, Josip Šutalo, Bertrand Traoré and Jorthy Mokio are part of the squad. In addition, John Heitinga has included several Jong Ajax talents for the training camp.
Ajax kicked off the new season in style with a convincing win in their first pre-season friendly. The Amsterdam side defeated Scottish club Hibernian FC 6–3 at De Toekomst. Steven Berghuis and Mika Godts both found the net twice.
