FC Groningen - Ajax has been definitively discontinued. In the sixth minute of the game, fireworks were thrown on the field. After the game resumed after fifteen minutes, fireworks were again thrown from the stands.
The referee decided not to resume the game after these two incidents. It is not yet known when FC Groningen - Ajax will be resumed.
FC Groningen away is up next for the Ajax players. The team had its last training on Saturday in the run-up to the Eredivisie duel. The match in the Euroborg will start at 14:30 on Sunday.
