Farioli is expecting the match in Poland to be quite different from last Sunday in Breda, when Ajax lost 1-0. "We think it will be similar to playing Panathinaikos, with them putting a lot of pressure on. They want to force us to make mistakes. I'm expecting the opposition to be aggressive They are clearly very organised in how they play, and there are some quite dangerous players in centre field. Their striker is formidable with great strength, he looks a lot like Brian Brobbey. It's easy to see how they won the championship last season."

Rensch also knows what to expect. "We've seen lots of footage. They are fast and highly skilled up front. They are a good team, in both attack and defence. They cross the ball a lot early on. We have to be on our guard." Under Farioli, Rensch will play more often at right back than centre this season. "Indeed," says the defender. "I'm playing down the centre a little more and a little farther back this season. This manager feels holding at the back is important, and that is where you can make a difference."

Hlynsson and Fitz-Jim off, Rugani on
Kristian Hlynsson and Kian Fitz-Jim didn't make the trip to Poland. "Kian has something wrong with his shoulder, and we have to keep an eye on that over the next few days. Hlynsson has injured a muscle and that means he can't be with us," Farioli explains.
