Goals from Jurriën Timber, Sébastien Haller, Devyne Rensch and Davy Klaassen sealed the deal: Ajax won it's 35th Eredivisie-title.

Great numbers Ten Hag
It marks the third time in a row that Ten Hag have finished first in the Eredivisie – with last season’s title cancelled do the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ten Hag has now coached 106 Ajax matches and won 83 times. He’s lost ten matches and drawn another 13. It makes for an impressive statline. In his first hundred matches, Ten Hag has the best Eredivisie record of all time: no manager has ever earned more points in his first 100 matches in the Eredivisie.

The Dutchman signed a new contract with Ajax last Friday, despite interest from foreign clubs. Ten Hag still sees more than enough room to achieve at ajax, he said. "Getting somewhere is one, staying somewhere is two. Ajax is back on the map abroad. We get the recognition for that, but we want even more. We want to go even higher and challenge the top clubs in Europe."

One of Ten Hag's goals will surely be to take the double again next season. It would be only the third time that a manager has achieved that feat. He would thus break the record that he now shares with the iconic former coach Rinus Michels. Michels won the double with Ajax in the 1966/1967 and 1969/1970 seasons.
