Ajax, Go Ahead Eagles, and Oliver Edvardsen have reached an agreement on the transfer of the winger to Amsterdam. The 25-year-old Norwegian has signed a contract that takes effect immediately and runs until June 30, 2028. The agreement includes an option for Ajax to extend the deal by an additional year.
Ajax will have to face Feyenoord in De Klassieker on Sunday without Mika Godts. Head coach Francesco Farioli confirmed the winger's absence during Friday's press conference. "He had a check-up this morning. It didn't look too bad, but his recovery will take at least a few days," said the Italian. Godts was forced off early in Thursday night's match against Galatasaray.
Ajax will face Union Saint-Gilloise in the UEFA Europa League knockout round play-offs. The first leg will take place on 13 February in Belgium, with the return match scheduled a week later at the Johan Cruijff ArenA. Kick-off times for both matches will be announced at a later stage.
