Ajax Women draw Hammarby IF in UEFA Women's Europa Cup Round of 16

Ajax Women have been paired with the Swedish Hammarby IF in the Round of 16 of the UEFA Women's Europa Cup main tournament. The draw, held in Nyon on Friday afternoon, determined that the ties will be played on November 11/12 and 19/20. Ajax will start the first leg at home.

If Ajax Women manage to win their two-legged tie against Hammarby IF, they will face the winner of the Glasgow City FC – Sporting CP clash. These matches will be played in February.

Anouk Bruil's team secured their place among the last sixteen on Thursday evening with a 2-1 victory over GC Frauenfussball. That win was enough after the goalless draw (0-0) in Switzerland a week earlier.
