Diant Ramaj will not be in action for Ajax for the time being. The 22-year-old goalkeeper fell in the injury time of the home match against Go Ahead Eagles on Thursday night after an aerial duel with Finn Stokkers. This left him with a fracture in his left elbow, which means that the current season is most likely over for him.
Ramaj: "I landed unfortunate after an aerial duel. Unfortunately I fractured my elbow. I will not be able to play for at least the next few weeks. Of course I hope to still get to play, I'm going to do everything I can to do that, but it will probably be difficult."
Ramaj transferred from Eintracht Frankfurt to Ajax last summer. The goalkeeper has played 31 matches for Ajax since his arrival.
