Ajax treated the home crowd to a convincing 3-0 victory in their final Eredivisie home match of 2024. Goals from Wout Weghorst, Kenneth Taylor, and Kian Fitz-Jim secured the win against Almere City FC. With this result, Ajax now sits in second place in the Eredivisie standings.
Ajax extended heartfelt support to Tijani Babangida during the match against Almere City FC. The former Ajax winger was struck by tragedy earlier this year when he was involved in a car accident that claimed the lives of his son and brother. His wife was critically injured in the incident. Babangida was invited as a guest of honour for the Eredivisie clash.
