Ajax and Skye Vink have reached an agreement on a new contract. The new deal for the 19-year-old forward runs until 30 June 2028. His previous contract was set to expire in mid-2025.

Vink was born on 1 July 2006 in Amsterdam. The forward has been part of the Ajax youth academy since 2017, after joining from partner club AVV Zeeburgia. He made his professional debut on 25 August 2023 in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie match between Jong Ajax and SC Cambuur. So far, the youth international has played 31 league matches for Jong Ajax.

Director of Football Marijn Beuker: "We're pleased to have extended Skye's contract today. He's a player in whom we see a lot of potential. Skye is a physically strong and intelligent striker. He’s able to exploit space effectively in attacking play with smart runs. In addition, he has a fantastic character, which will hopefully help him continue his development next season and ultimately make the step up to the first team."
