Alex Kroes: "With all his experience, Remko is an important figure in the squad, both on and off the pitch. He's a true example of someone who lives for the sport. This past season, he had a very strong campaign as our first-choice goalkeeper and proved that he's still more than capable. That’s why we're very happy to have him with us again this season. He has truly earned this extra year."
