Ajax and Emre Ünüvar have reached an agreement on a new contract. The seventeen-year-old forward has signed a deal that runs until June 30, 2028. His previous contract was set to expire in mid-2027.

Ünüvar (March 18, 2008, Zaanstad) has been part of the Ajax youth academy since 2015. The youth international progressed through several youth teams and made his professional debut for Ajax U23 on May 10, 2024, in the match against AZ U23. To date, Ünüvar has made five appearances in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie.

Director Football Marijn Beuker: "Emre is developing very well, and we look forward with confidence to a bright future for him at Ajax. That is why we are pleased to have extended his contract by an additional season. Emre is a technical striker with great pace, a true forward with a real eye for goal. Hopefully, he can prove his value this season in both the league and the Youth League, and continue his strong development."
