Ajax and Club Brugge have reached an agreement on the transfer of Carlos Forbs to the Belgian club. The 21-year-old winger was under contract with Ajax until 30 June 2028.

Forbs (19 March 2004, Sintra, Portugal) joined Ajax in the summer of 2023 from Manchester City. The Portuguese player made his debut on 12 August 2023 during Ajax – Heracles Almelo. Last season, the Portugal U21 international was loaned out to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the English Premier League. He featured in a total of 38 official matches for Ajax’s first team, scoring three goals.

Alex Kroes: "Carlos has very fine character traits, is always positive, and is also a curious, driven player. Nevertheless, he unfortunately did not manage to become a regular starter with us. He is still very young and therefore has an entire career ahead of him. He will now continue that in Belgium, and we have wished him the very best of luck."

Amourricho van Axel Dongen joins sc Heerenveen on loan

Ajax and sc Heerenveen have reached an agreement on the loan of Amourricho van Axel Dongen. The winger will play for the club from Friesland on loan until the summer of 2026. The 20-year-old remains under contract with Ajax until June 30, 2027.
