After a disappointing season, Ajax Women arrived in Estoril, Portugal, to take part in the World Sevens Football tournament. This newly launched international competition features a different format from regular matches: teams consist of seven players and games last two halves of fifteen minutes. We followed the Ajax side during their debut at the tournament.
Ajax have reached an agreement with Daniëlle Noordermeer regarding the defender’s transfer to the club. Noordermeer joins from ADO Den Haag and has signed a two-year contract in Amsterdam, running until June 30, 2027.
Sherida Spitse extends her contract with Ajax by two years. The captain of the Ajax Women's team is proud of her decision: "I'm staying a little longer. I'm really happy and proud of that. In the Netherlands, there's only one club and that's Ajax."
