Brobbey returns to squad for Panathinaikos away

Ajax coach Francesco Farioli has included Brian Brobbey in the 24-man squad for the match against Panathinaikos. Ajax will face the Greeks on Thursday at 20:00 Dutch time in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League. Brobbey is included in the squad for the first time after the European Championship with the Dutch national team. Steven Bergwijn is still absent.

If Ajax wins against Panathinaikos, the Amsterdam-based team will play in the Europa League playoffs against the team that loses the match between Jagiellonia Białystok and Bodø/Glimt. If they lose, Farioli's team will play in the UEFA Conference League playoffs against RC Lens.
