Ajax, Borna Sosa, and Torino FC have reached an agreement on the player's loan to the Italian club. The loan is effective immediately and runs for one season until June 30, 2025. The agreement includes an option to purchase for the Italian club. The 26-year-old player's contract at Ajax runs until June 30, 2028.
Sosa was born on January 21, 1998, in Zagreb. The Croatian international followed the youth academy of Dinamo Zagreb, where he played in the first team from 2015. At the start of last season, the left-footed player transferred from VfB Stuttgart to Ajax. In Amsterdam service, he made his debut on September 17, 2023, during the competition match against FC Twente (3-1). So far, the defender has played 25 matches for Ajax's first team.
