Tuesday marked the first full training day for Ajax at their camp in Zeist. After arriving on Monday and immediately getting to work, the players had the chance to fully exert themselves a day later with a double training session. The second day of the training camp was defined by variety, intensity, and energy.

Ajax kicked off the new season in style with a convincing win in their first pre-season friendly. The Amsterdam side defeated Scottish club Hibernian FC 6–3 at De Toekomst. Steven Berghuis and Mika Godts both found the net twice.
