The first interview with brand new Ajax player Lorenzo Lucca. The super-tall 21-year-old centre forward will be rented for a year (with an option to buy) from Pisa SC of Serie B in Italy.
Ajax has reached an agreement with Pisa SC and Lorenzo Lucca to take the striker on loan with immediate effect. The Italian player will be loaned out for one season, until 30 June, 2023. The agreement also gives Ajax an option to purchase.
The new (Ducth) Eredivisie season is just around the corner. Saturday sees the first game of the new season, with a visit to Fortuna Sittard. The squad were in training on Wednesday in the run-up to the clash with the team from Limburg.
Ajax will start the league next weekend with an away game against Fortuna Sittard and will do so in an all-new away shirt from adidas. The national champions will play the 2022/2023 season in a dark blue away shirt, with gold and red accent colours.
