Bruil (born June 28, 1994) began her coaching career in 2014 with the reserve team of sc Heerenveen Women. After two seasons, she also became assistant coach of the club’s first team. Following five years in this dual role, Bruil joined Ajax Women in the summer of 2021 as an assistant coach, winning the Dutch Cup in her first season in Amsterdam. For the past three years, she has been in charge of the U19 Talent Team.

Anouk Bruil: "I'm really looking forward to taking on this challenge. In recent weeks, I’ve had positive discussions with the board, and I didn’t have to think long when I was asked whether I wanted to become head coach of the first team. Over the past few years, I’ve become well-acquainted with the club, its players, and the rest of the staff. I believe that will help us work together effectively to develop the squad and move the club forward."

Technical Director Alex Kroes: "Anouk is a talented and passionate coach with great dedication. She is familiar with the squad, the other staff members, and the club’s culture. In recent years, she has shown that she advocates a style of play that aligns with that of Ajax, with a strong focus on talent development. Ajax is committed to providing young, ambitious, and talented individuals with opportunities, and that’s exactly how we see Anouk. We have every confidence that she can take our team to the next level."
