Amourricho van Axel Dongen joins SC Heerenveen on loan

Ajax and SC Heerenveen have reached an agreement on the loan of Amourricho van Axel Dongen. The winger will play for the club from Friesland on loan until the summer of 2026. The 20-year-old remains under contract with Ajax until June 30, 2027.

Van Axel Dongen (Almere, September 29, 2004) joined Ajax in 2013 and progressed through several youth teams. In 2021, he was awarded the Abdelhak Nouri Trophy as the most promising talent in the academy. He made his first-team debut on December 15, 2021, in a Dutch Cup match against Barendrecht. So far, the forward has featured in eight official matches for Ajax’s senior team.
