Ajax Women travel to Rome with 23 players

Suzanne Bakker has selected 23 players for the away match against AS Roma. The Amsterdam-based team travelled to Italy’s capital on Wednesday, where the second group stage match of the UEFA Women’s Champions League will be played on Thursday from 21:00.

The Ajacieden experienced a dream start on the highest European stage for club teams. In the Johan Cruijff ArenA, Paris Saint-Germain was beaten 2-0. Fifteen thousand supporters saw Tiny Hoekstra and Sherida Spitse score on behalf of the home team. The Ajax Women will play all the UWCL group-stage matches in the Johan Cruijff ArenA. On Wednesday, December 20, the next home match awaits. Bayern München will be the opponent.
