Ajax Women have been drawn against Sturm Graz in the UEFA Women’s Europa Cup. The draw on Sunday in Nyon decided the pairing.
Sturm Graz finished third in the Austrian league last season and are taking part in Europe for the sixth time in total. The first leg of the opening qualifying round will be played on 10 or 11 September in Amsterdam.
The UEFA Women’s Europa Cup is a new tournament on the European calendar. First, two qualifying rounds are played, followed by the round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals and finally the final. That showpiece will take place on 25/26 April or 2/3 May.
