Ajax Women draw FC Kolos Kovalivka in the first qualifying round of UWCL

The draw in Nyon on Friday afternoon has revealed that Ajax Women have been paired with FC Kolos Kovalivka. The match in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Women's Champions League will be played on September 4.

Besides FC Kolos Kovalivka, Brøndby IF and Fiorentina are the other teams in group 1. If Ajax Women survive the semi-final, a knockout match awaits on September 7 against the winner of the match between Brøndby IF and Fiorentina.

In case of a defeat against FC Kolos Kovalivka, Hesterine de Reus's team will face the loser of the other match in the group. The group matches in the first qualifying round will be played at one location. The time and the city of the match will be announced later.

Only the group winner progresses to the second qualifying round of the UEFA Women's Champions League, which will be played on September 18/19 and September 25/26.
