Ajax win against FK Vojvodina

Ajax have won the return leg against FK Vojvodina in Serbia. The final score in the TSC Arena was 1-3. The goals on behalf of the Amsterdam-based team were scored by Josip Šutalo, Jorrel Hato, and Bertrand Traoré.

Ajax did not manage to score in the first half. In the second half, Josip Šutalo gave Ajax the lead. Six minutes later, Vojvodina equalised with an own goal scored by Šutalo. Hato found the net from the edge of the penalty box and scored the 1-2 in the 85th minute. Bertrand Traoré scored the 1-3 in the extra time, making his first match since his return to the Amsterdam-based team extra special.

Thanks to this victory, Ajax will advance to the third qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League. Next week, they will face Panathinaikos in Greece. The return leg will take place one week later.

Farioli welcomes Brobbey and Bergwijn to the training pitch

Brian Brobbey and Steven Bergwijn have returned to the training pitch in Amsterdam. The pair had a vacation after being eliminated in the European Championship in Germany and were welcomed by Francesco Farioli at the De Toekomst sports complex on Monday.
