During the visit, Como 1907 presented their strategic vision, ambitions, and long-term plans, while Ajax shared insights into the club structure, football philosophy, scouting processes, and broader multi-club network strategy. The open discussions and brainstorming sessions on both organizational and talent development, provided valuable learning opportunities for both clubs and laid the foundation for a deeper Ajax-Como partnership.
The visit also aligned with an ongoing talent development project of Ajax’s long-term relation, the Japan Football Association (JFA). As part of this project, five Japanese youth national team players are currently undergoing a two-week trial with Como 1907’s U19 squad. Ajax and Como also engaged in discussions with JFA staff, further strengthening the ties between the three parties and creating more player development opportunities on a global scale.
Build on this momentum
Looking ahead, Ajax and Como 1907 aim to build on this momentum, with more interactions and collaborative efforts planned in the near future. The partnership is set to bring mutual benefits as both clubs work together to develop talent, share best practices, and enhance football development on and off the pitch.
