Ajax O19 departed for Poland on Tuesday afternoon for the Youth League match against Legia Warsaw. Coach Yuri Rose boarded the plane at Schiphol together with his staff and twenty Ajax players. On Wednesday, the Amsterdam side will face their age-group counterparts of Legia Warsaw in a battle for a place in the next knockout round.

The UEFA Youth League is a tournament in which Ajax U19 are aiming to make a strong impression. With ten points from six matches, the Amsterdam side finished among the top 22, earning a place in the next round. We were present at the first six fixtures, right from the front row, and captured exclusive footage.
Daan van Oudheusden has been in charge of Ajax Under-16 since this summer. The 33-year-old coach has been working in football for more than fifteen years, sees Ajax as the pinnacle of youth football and gained a very special experience in Singapore. "That might have been the most bizarre period of my life. I don’t think anything will ever come close to it."
Three brothers, three different ages, three different teams and one shared goal. Three brothers being part of the same youth academy at the same club at the same time is anything but commonplace.
