Ajax to Italy: training camp kicks off with first session

Ajax has travelled to northern Italy for the second training camp of pre-season. John Heitinga’s squad flew out from Amsterdam on Tuesday and held their first training session later that evening under the Italian sun.

Ajax will depart for Italy on Tuesday afternoon for a training camp. The squad will take part in the Como Cup, which kicks off on Wednesday, July 23. The Amsterdam side will play their first match on Thursday, July 24. Head coach John Heitinga is taking 29 players to Italy.
