Jaros was born on July 23, 2001, in Příbram, Czech Republic, and moved from Slavia Prague to Liverpool’s youth academy in 2017. In the years since, he has been loaned out to various clubs, most recently to Sturm Graz. With the Austrian side, he won the double in 2024. This past season, the international debuted for Liverpool’s first team, with whom he won the English league title.

Technical director Alex Kroes: "We're very pleased to have brought Vitezslav to Amsterdam. Despite his young age, he has already gained valuable experience and played a full part as a back-up goalkeeper with the English champions. His ability to play out from the back is of a very high level, he is athletic, reads space well, and provides calmness to the defence. His arrival definitely gives our squad a boost in quality."
