Paes was born on May 14, 1998, in Nijmegen and also holds an Indonesian passport. The goalkeeper has been playing in Dallas since the summer of 2022 and made his debut for the Indonesian national team in 2024. Previously, he played in the Netherlands for NEC and FC Utrecht.
