Rosa (April 3, 2000, Ribeirão Preto, Brazil) had been playing for Real Valladolid since 2021, a club competing in Spain's top division. In his home country, he played in the youth teams of Esporte Clube Taubaté and Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras, before transferring to Juventus in 2018. At the Italian club, he played for the U23 team.
Technical Director Alex Kroes: "With Lucas, we have found a versatile player who can operate both as a right-back and left-back. He is a real battler, attackers will have to try to get past him more than once to succeed. On the ball, he is also quite comfortable. As a player in his mid-twenties, he fits perfectly into the age category we are looking for, and with his South American mentality, he can bring that extra bit of bite to the team. In short, we are extremely pleased to announce this transfer."
